Medical Records & Health Information All patient health information is stored in encrypted, HIPAA-compliant electronic health record systems. Access is restricted to care team members directly involved in your treatment. Your records are never shared with unauthorized parties.

Consultation & Procedure Rooms All consultations and procedures are conducted in private, enclosed rooms. No aspect of your care takes place in shared or open spaces within the clinic.

Recovery Post-procedure recovery takes place in a private or semi-private recovery area. Patients are not required to interact with other patients during recovery.

Billing & Insurance Patients who have concerns about insurance-related privacy such as Explanation of Benefits documents sent to a shared insurance policyholder — are encouraged to discuss billing options with our team. Self-pay and Medicaid options may be available to patients who wish to avoid insurance billing.

Staff Confidentiality All clinical and administrative staff at Serenity Choice Health receive HIPAA training and sign confidentiality agreements as a condition of employment. No staff member may discuss patient information outside of authorized clinical contexts.

Patients with Shared Insurance If you share an insurance plan with a spouse, parent, or other policyholder, an Explanation of Benefits document may be generated and sent to the primary policyholder after a covered service. Patients who wish to avoid this should discuss self-pay or Medicaid options with our billing team before your appointment.
